Recreation Full Time Staff, Pond Director(s)
- Greet customers or guests as they arrive at the gate, snack table or counter and interact with them in a helpful and positive manner.
- Provide customers with information on the pond and/or available snack items.
- Accept and process payments, and tender change according to specified instructions.
- Monitor and replenish all food and beverage items by stocking counters and displays in a neat manner.
- Responsible for enforcing parking rules, knowing Pond information, and providing outstanding guest service
- Remove and properly dispose of trash and debris accumulated in service stations, outside area, to stay in sync with company procedures.
- Ascertain that all stations are properly stocked.
- Ascertain that all received deliveries of food items and supplies are properly placed in their assigned areas.
- Work with customers / guests and staff members to resolve issues such as complaints regarding food quality and taste.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to handle and process payments throughout the day and reconcile the day's financials at the conclusion of the day with accuracy in counting of cash/check/charges.Â
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge and understanding of customer service and ability to ensure customer relations and expectations are met or exceeded.Â
- Ability to work outdoors: subject to extremes in noise, temperature, etc.
- Intermittent standing to assist customers.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and deal effectively with interruptions.
- Ability to interact effectively and pleasantly with a wide variety of individuals, including customers, co-workers, outside professionals, and members of the public.
- Ability to understand, select and perform basic mathematical calculations efficiently and accurately.Â
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Position is outdoors and is subject to extremes in noise, temperature, etc.
- Intermittent standing to assist customers.
- Frequent interruptions to assist customers.
