Internship Summary :
STIHL Inc. has a full time opening for an IT / OT Engineering Intern in our Polymers Department.
Assist with defining, developing & deploying an internal web-based application to assist our Production Planning department. The intern will be required to learn our SCADA platform Ignition (Inductive Automation) that will host the application and work with the internal customers to help understand the needs and develop suitable solutions.
Internship Goals
- Introduction to Ignition SCADA system (commonly used platform in industry)
- Experience in Python and SQL
- Experience in SAP and API interfacing
Internship Requirements :
Academic Year : Senior
Area of Study : Computer Science or similar
Preferred GPA : 3.5
Software Experience : Python, SQL
Internship Information :
Work Hours : 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm
Department : Polymers
Compensation : $20 / hour
