About this role
AndrenaM is seeking a Head of Electrical Engineering who is passionate about advancing real-time maritime communication technology to build the central nervous system for maritime autonomy. This is a unique opportunity to be a core part of our founding team here in Hawthorne California, shaping the product and technology from the ground up.
Our main engineering challenge is to develop a real-time data platform that can ingest, process, store, and analyze data from thousands of autonomous and semi-autonomous marine systems. This system must be built to seamlessly handle a wide variety of sensors, hardware interfaces, data sources, and AI-driven analytics, all with military-grade security and robustness.
In This Role :
- You will set the standard for hardware design in maritime autonomous systems.
- You will tackle complex engineering challenges related to electronics, from concept through to production.
- You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including software engineers and autonomy experts, to develop and refine our technology.
