Food Service Worker
At Andrew Residence the Food Service Team prides itself on delivering a diverse menu of quality offerings, cafeteria-style, where diner choice is key. Note: Andrew Residence is not a skilled nursing home; pureed, texture modified foods are prepared.
The primary responsibility of the Food Service Worker is to provide general cleaning of the food service area and dishwashing services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Andrew policies and procedures.
1 Food Service Worker position available
- Every Monday 4:00*-7:30 PM (*start time flexible; can push back to 4:30 PM)
- Every other Friday 4:00*-7:30 PM (*start time flexible; can push back to 4:30 PM)
- Every other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 10:30 AM - 7 PM
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete all assigned cleaning and dishwashing responsiblities
- Follow all food service procedures in a consistent, systematic, and safe manner
- Effectively interact and contribute to a positive experience for residents and staff
- Provide support as needed to Cooks with preparing snacks and bagged meals for residents
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to relate to residents and associates in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relative Food Service Worker experience
- Experience in the healthcare or hospitality field
