Social Worker Compensation

• LSW (Bachelors): $27.50/hour, with an increase to $28.00/hour after 90 days of employment
• LGSW (Masters): $33.65/hour, with an increase to $34.15/hour after 90 days of employment
• LGSW LADC: $34.50/hour, with an increase to $35.00/hour after 90 days of employment

Primary Social Worker Responsibilities:

• To ensure the provision of a comprehensive program of services both individually and in groups.
• To complete pre-admission interviews and diagnostic assessments.
• To facilitate admission and discharge processes.
• To facilitate referrals to community resources.
• To participate in the provision of a comprehensive program of services, interacting with residents in both individual and group settings with an emphasis on the milieu to facilitate the residents’ acquisition of independent living skills.
• To assess residents’ mental health status and communicate with the treatment team; intervening in emergency and crisis situations as needed.
• To provide individual program management and treatment planning.

Schedule:

• Hours will be scheduled on a consistent biweekly schedule to include mainly Day shifts (8:00/8:30 AM - 4:30/5:00 PM), with one weekly Evening shift (12:30 - 9:00 PM).
• Rotating weekend shift (Saturday & Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM) - scheduled 1 weekend, every 4 weeks

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work and current/valid license as a LSW

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work and current/valid license as a LGSW, LISW or LICSW
• Current/valid license as a LADC
• Experience working with resident populations
• Mental health social work experience
• Knowledge of mental illness and needs of the population

Andrew Residence is a mental health residential treatment and nursing facility. Our multi-disciplinary teams serve adults who are experiencing mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We offer evidence based, collaborative and trauma-informed treatment services that align with an individual’s personal goals and needs. In addition to our mental health programming, we provide a broad range of physical health care services by our 24 hour nursing team. Andrew is for those who do not need psychiatric hospitalization and are working to have success in living independently.

Those living at Andrew Residence have a mental illness such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder or Major Depression. Other diagnoses include Personality disorders, Anxiety disorders, Substance use, and Obsessive Compulsive disorder. Residents are culturally diverse in ethnicity, race, spirituality and sexual orientation. Ages of our residents range from 18-70 years old.

COVID-19 Considerations:

PPE is provided to all employees and we follow the recommendations from MDH and the CDC. CDC guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination recommend that everyone stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines including booster doses. COVID vaccination for Andrew Residence employees is not required, but is highly encouraged.
