Snow Plow Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow from designated areas, ensuring safety and accessibility during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate snow plowing equipment effectively. Additional landscaping and maintenance skills will be beneficial in supporting our year-round operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
• Perform routine inspections of snow removal equipment before and after use.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize areas for snow removal based on safety needs.
• Utilize hand tools for additional tasks such as tree trimming and landscape maintenance as needed.
• Assist in maintaining gardens and landscapes during off-season periods.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and performing manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in snow plowing or similar roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with garden and landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
• Proficient in using hand tools and equipment related to tree care and hardscape projects.
• Ability to work long hours during inclement weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
