Position Purpose:
The Student Recruiting Specialist is responsible for providing customer service and information to prospective students who are interested in pursuing Charis Bible College. This position is responsible for conducting outbound telephone calls to individuals who have inquired about campus and online programs of study, meeting with prospective students, answering questions, hosting campus tours, hosting various campus events, and webinars, and assisting with applicant conversion.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct Student Recruiting for Campus and Online Programs.
- Conduct outbound and inbound telephone calls, and e-mails, responding timely to all inquiries.
- Able to speak publicly at churches, schools, organizations, and large events and webinars.
- Enthusiastically promote Charis and provide information to prospective students helping them to convert into applicants.
- Represent Charis Bible College at on-campus conferences and events at the Charis booth, relocation fair, open houses, and some community events.
- Maintain regular communication with prospects, track weekly progress on all applicant conversions, and keep files up-to-date utilizing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Communicate accurately regarding Charis Bible College policies, programs, and services utilizing the Admissions knowledge database and staying current with changes in program platforms and policies.
- Consistently collect and record data on all events to make evidence-based recommendations for future events.
- Oversee prospective student communications and progress.
- Respond to daily “to-do lists”, including emails and phone calls.
- Assist with various mailings and marketing campaigns as needed.
- Be a team player willing to share personal insight and perspective to create effective processes that increase conversion rates.
- Demonstrate commitment to the Charis mission.

- Must be able to effectively operate Windows-based computers and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- 2 Years’ Experience in a related Customer Service field
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
