Description

Position Purpose :

The Writer develops compelling content for various platforms to effectively communicate key messages about Andrew Wommack Ministries (AWM) and Charis Bible College. Deliverables may include print and web-based materials, covering events, products, services, and strategies. The Writer ensures all content aligns with AWM's branding, style, and communication standards.

Essential Duties :

Write persuasive, conversion-focused marketing copy that clearly conveys value and calls to action.
Write from source materials and maintain high standards of writing and performance.
Develop print and digital content that meets communications objectives and deadlines.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of AWM / Charis products, services, and strategies to inform content creation.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand communication needs and support promotional strategies.
Uphold high standards of writing and performance across all projects.
Produce high-quality content, adhering to style and branding guidelines.
Identify opportunities to repurpose content for various audiences and platforms.
Stay updated on copywriting trends and best practices in marketing and digital content creation.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and writing mechanics.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and new challenges.

Ability to manage multiple projects across various media simultaneously.

Ability to prioritize and stay productive under pressure.

Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to tailor communications to various target audiences.

Requirements :

Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Must sign the Statement of Faith.

A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.

Bachelor's Degree in English, Writing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.

Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.

Must pass all required checks.

Experience :

2 -3 years of experience as a writer or editor.

Experience with a variety of writing styles : technical, creative, and marketing.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
