Responsibilities

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.

Communicate efficiently with the Service Advisor for additional services needed.

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.

Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.

Conduct routine maintenance work aiming at vehicle functionality and longevity.

Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks).

Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job.

Keep a log of work performed and vehicle issues.

Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

Qualifications

GM Master / World Class Technician

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a clean / acceptable driving record.

Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check & drug screening.

Must possess a valid Driver's License.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill and / or ability required.
