We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller/Head of Finance for our client.
Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Tax and Revenue Recognition.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- US GAAP Compliance: Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Annual Financial Statement Audit: Coordinate and manage the annual financial statement audit, working closely with external auditors.
- Financial Statements: Prepare and present financial statements to senior management and stakeholders.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience a .
