BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. Masters a plus.
- 3-10 years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, systems integration, and/or robotics.
- Proficiency with general ME CAD tools, generating BOM, I/O lists, and P&IDs: SolidWorks and/or Creo Elements Direct Modeling.
- Adept at generating test plans, running tests, collecting data and generating customer proposals.
- Good understanding of basic mechanics, machine design, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with automation or product development processes from concept to production.
- Experience with designing injection molded, MIM, and sheet metal parts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design complex automated systems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Create and manage technical documentation (e.g., BOMs, I/O lists, P&IDs).
- Develop Automation mechanical design solutions using advanced engineering principles and CAD tools.
- Support project lifecycle from conceptual design through production implementation.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $82,000.00 - $135,000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equal-opportunity employer.
