Purpose Statement

Under minimal supervision, receives, stores, and issues maintenance and production materials. Operate computer and maintenance management software (SAP)

• Job Responsibilities & Tasks (include but not limited to)
• Maintain an active repairs spreadsheet for repairable items, as well as keep track of where they are sent, estimated costs and lead times, and confirm work orders as items return
• Maintain a clean and SAFE work enviroment, orginize parts in appropiate locations,maintain documents of locataion, all while following 5’S organization
• Maintain an effective cycle count schedule to accurarely track inventory counts and track SAP MRP process to ensure process is working properly, Adjust inventory through the scrapping process as discrepancies are found
• Receive, uncrate, and sort daily shipments, as well as prepare miscellaneous shipments for returned goods
• Maintain inventory of maintenace shop supplies
• Communicate with maintenace personnel and vendors to keep up with daily demands
• Maintain company forklifts and vehicals
  
  

Education, Professional Experience, And Qualification Preferred/required

• High school diploma or equal and PA driver’s license.
• Good reading, writing and speaking of English, and telephone ability.
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products( Word, Excel) as well as an SAP System
• Accuratley complete required documentation and reports
• Use fork trucks, floor cranes, high lifts, and other mobile eqipment as needed
• Participate in activities to improve Safety
• Must be self-Motivated to work independetly as well as with team members
  
  

Physical And Mental Qualifications

Position performed in an office and/or home (remote) office environment. Frequent visits to mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
