ASI is seeking an experienced Reliability Manager/Engineer to work in Lexington Park, Maryland. The candidate will manage and participate in various Reliability & Maintainability engineering efforts for our NAVAIR and commercial customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraft
- Perform R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and calculate R&M metrics
- Perform R&M criticality and risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs)
- Attend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) meetings and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings
- Review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerations
- Determine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in developing design modifications and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
- Support Reliability Development Growth Testing (reliability qualification tests, HALT, and reliability growth testing)
- Support IHMS/BIT design/development process
- Collect R&M data from and populate FRACAS databases
- Generate various reports outlining findings and recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics, or Electronics
- 3-10 years of experience as an R&M Engineer or relevant R&M experience
- Knowledgeable in IVHMS/BIT and Reliability Development Growth Testing
- Understanding of early acquisition cycle (Milestone B through Milestone C)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to use Microsoft 365 to include Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Desired skills include knowledge in areas such as R&M modeling, risk/criticality assessment, FMEA, RCA, FRACAS, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methods
- Desired experience with MBSE/Cameo Systems Modeler/Digital engineering, and measuring/tracking reliability in Developmental and Operational testing
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be qualified to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- Ability to work in Government classified spaces
