Anduril Industries seeks a dedicated Mission Systems Engineer to contribute to our Air Dominance and Strike team's efforts.
The team's primary focus lies in developing advanced autonomous air systems designed to provide exceptional warfighter outcomes. As a Mission Systems Engineer, your key responsibilities will include selecting, sourcing, and validating mission-relevant payloads and systems to ensure successful mission outcomes within Anduril programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Select, source, and validate mission-relevant payloads and systems to ensure successful mission outcomes within Anduril programs
- Collaborate with the broader AD&S team to conduct trades for communications, sensing, and effector systems
- Develop autonomous multi-function, multi-mode payload and system solution concepts, requirements, layout, interfaces, & employment
- Work closely with subject matter experts to adapt or derive physics-based models of payload system performance
- Develop validated effects-based models for use in mission-level modeling & simulation tools
- Closely cooperate with test & integration engineers to validate system performance
- Successfully integrate & deliver high-performance systems to our customers by working closely with AD&S teams
- Manage subcontractors and/or internal development teams to define subsystem requirements and drive technical performance on schedule
Your Required Skills and Qualifications
- A valid DoD Top Secret Security Clearance is required
- Expertise in Communications, sensors, and effector domains such as Radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW systems
- Strong proficiency in physics-based modeling and analysis of system performance using preferred tools
- At least 2 years of experience in payload integration and validation
- More than 5 years of experience in Science and/or Engineering related field
