The Director of Supplier Industrialization Engineering (SIE) plays a pivotal role in leading a growing SIE team and partnering with internal engineering, quality, supply chain and manufacturing departments. This role will establish a high-bar of performance based on metrics and create innovative management strategies and tools to enable the industrialization of Anduril’s cutting-edge products while meeting fast-paced launch timelines across the globe. This role partners heavily with internal and external teams, traveling to suppliers in different regions, with the goal of delivering on-time quantities of high quality component parts for Anduril’s production processes and enable extremely rapid development cycles and product launches.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Build, manage, and develop a growing team of high-performing SIE Engineers with a strong focus on collaboration and technical excellence.
- Provide hands-on training, coaching and mentorship to develop the skills and expertise of team members.
- Improve existing tools and create effective approaches to quality management in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Develop, manage, audit, improve and correct supplier planning and execution of component manufacturing, assembly techniques and quality control processes from the advanced development phase to mass production qualification.
- Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at Suppliers and lead supplier improvements in scalability, cost, and quality.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SIE projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- On a day-to-day basis, lead the team to follow-up and escalate with work cross functional teams on SIE project and program progress, resolving issues and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Partner with Engineering and other internal / external stakeholders to collect feedback and act as a communication portal between parties in order to 100% align on all requirements and improve the quality of supplies at the source while reducing the inspection needs.

US Salary Range : $180,000 - $270,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations.
