As a Technical Program Manager, Factory Design at Anduril Industries, you will be responsible for driving the development of efficient, on-time production and start-up processes at our new manufacturing facility, Arsenal-1. Your key responsibilities will include creating and owning the integrated solution for factory layout design, incorporating lean manufacturing principles, linear flow, and visual management. This will involve developing detailed layout alternatives, production flow, space allocation across programs and products, expansion planning, and operating scenarios. You will also play a critical role in questioning requirements in product design, layout design, and facility design to ensure cost-effective and schedule-efficient solutions that meet product needs. In addition, you will support the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of lines, material flow, and production support processes at new factory sites, ensuring successful delivery of factories and products off the line.
Key qualifications for this role include around 5 years of experience as a program manager for a manufacturing facility or process, industrial engineer, manufacturing engineer, or production/process engineer for hardware products. You should also be able to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment, next to operations and manufacturing engineering to understand and optimize the production system. Experience with capacity planning and business operating scenario analysis is highly desirable. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, will enable you to make a significant impact in this role.
