Anduril is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to directly support our most sensitive programs. You will be a part of the team building and maintaining the critical classified infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the world’s best engineers and cybersecurity professionals as you help to implement cutting-edge systems. You will work directly to support systems deployed across the globe in support of national security missions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, Windows, and Linux servers.
Assist with setup of system of systems hardware from bare metal to platform base operating system.
Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and follow system maintenance, patch, and migration schedules.
Develop and implement automation scripts using Python and Ansible.
Collaborate with System Engineers in the uploading of container images into the deployment pipeline.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

5-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Classified IT enterprise systems and solutions at manufacturing companies (Aerospace & Defense industry preferred).

Proven expertise in one or more of the following : Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows (10, 11, Server 2019, 2022), VMware (VxRail), Azure or AWS cloud services.

Experience performing Database Cloning, Backups, Restoring, Recovery, and Monitoring.

Experience implementing role-based access control concepts (e.g. SE Linux extensions to RHEL, PitBull, AppArmor, and Sentris).

Programming ability in one or more of the general scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash, Rust, etc.).

Experience in DevOps or SRE type roles.

Experience with physical hardware - servers, cabling, desktops, laptops, phones, tablets.

Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting air-gapped IT systems.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, working closely with Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) and Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs).

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware ESXi, Linux KVM, Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker.

DoD approved 8570 / 8140 baseline certification (Security , CySA , CISSP, etc.).

Must possess and be able to maintain a U.S. TS Security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

Install and resolve software problems with applications to include secure print / scan, Sentris, VoIP, Gitlab, Microsoft SQL, Postgres, and WSUS.

Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.

Low voltage cabling experience.

Experience with a scripting language (Bash, Python, etc.) to automate and solve recurring tasks.

US Salary Range : $122,000—$183,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations.
