Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Assist in catering events or banquets as needed, providing support in food service.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred; catering experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and food handling practices is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math skills is desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
