Job Title : Assistant Vice President of Security Operations

Location : Aurora, IL

Job Summary :

As the Assistant Vice President of Security Operations, you will play a crucial role in shaping a national portfolio dedicated to security and safety across various clients and industries. Reporting directly to the Vice President, you will manage Sports & Entertainment and Commercial operations in the Chicagoland area while providing essential strategic and operational support to regional teams. This position requires a deep commitment to driving operational excellence and establishing robust client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Enhance operational and administrative efficiency, ensuring consistent achievement of performance objectives and contract KPIs.
  • Forge and maintain strong relationships with client leadership through proactive communication and collaboration.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, cost optimization, and labor expense management to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Mentor and develop subordinate managers, cultivating a culture of performance excellence and leadership.
  • Craft and implement strategies aimed at improving service delivery and operational efficiency across all engagements.

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic foresight, and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-client environments.

Considerations : Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Program Development and Service Quality : Design and oversee security and safety programs to guarantee outstanding service delivery. Assess service quality and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Client Relations and Customer Satisfaction : Engage with clients for feedback, enhance satisfaction, and ensure their needs are addressed. Hold regular meetings and update leadership on customer engagement and results.
  • Administrative Excellence : Maintain compliance with all client contractual obligations. Monitor and report contract-level KPIs, preparing comprehensive reports and analyses for quarterly service reviews.
  • Goal Setting and Reporting : Define and pursue operational and financial goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Provide updates to senior leadership with detailed metrics and reports.
  • Operational Efficiency : Identify and implement opportunities to boost efficiency and productivity within the organization.
  • Collaboration : Work alongside internal departments to synchronize efforts and meet organizational objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development : Mentor direct reports to help them achieve performance objectives and efficiently manage their teams.
  • Leadership Communication : Keep the Vice President updated on regional operational and financial performance, noting deficiencies and proposing corrective actions.
  • Strategic Planning : Formulate and realize strategies that enhance operational processes and business outcomes.
  • Industry Expertise : Remain informed about industry standards, security trends, competing technologies, and market demographics to underpin business strategy and growth.
  • Financial Management : Oversee budget adherence by analyzing financial and operational indicators for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Market Analysis : Study industry and business trends to identify potential impacts and growth opportunities.
  • Technical Proficiency : Demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Additional Duties : Perform other necessary tasks to meet organizational objectives.
