Job Summary
Andy Mohr Avon Nissan is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented experienced Automotive Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, commitment to providing exceptional customer service, dedication, reliability, and other qualities that make for a top notch employee. This job is in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various cleaning techniques and tools to enhance the condition of our vehicle inventory. This employee will be moving vehicles, cleaning vehicles, and assisting with inventory side of the dealership.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vehicles, both interior and exterior, including vacuuming, washing, waxing, and buffing.
- Maintain bays and facilities to ensure organization and safe working environment.
- Have a keen eye for top level service.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with detailing services.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Conduct custodial tasks as necessary to uphold a professional environment.
- Drive vehicles safely within the premises for cleaning and detailing purposes.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning products and techniques to achieve optimal results on all vehicle surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily detailing goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- manual dexterity with the ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Use of chemicals, dyes, paints, etc
- Will require some work in inclement weather
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for cleanliness and vehicle aesthetics.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with custodial duties and cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform buffing and other specialized detailing tasks.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
