Andy Mohr is looking to fill an immediate position for an Automotive Service Writer/Advisor. The ideal candidate has Service Advisor experience and a working knowledge of scheduling appointments, writing ROs, Selecting Opt codes, and other Service skills required to sell service to our large customer base. You must be passionate about the automotive industry and enjoy working with customers. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their vehicle service needs, from assistance in general diagnostics, creating accurate estimates for repairs, working with customers on declined service, etc. You will work closely with our team of technicians to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns about vehicle issues
- Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance, with correct estimates for repair
- Conduct a vehicle walk around with customers to address potential future service needed
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicles
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate
Requirements:
- Experience is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in scheduling and RO software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
