Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team at Andy Mohr VW. The Lot Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the vehicle lot and assisting the Service and Sales departments with inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be dependable, have a general knowledge of vehicles, a clean driving record, and be able to work well independently and in a team setting.
Duties
- Drive vehicles to and from the lot, ensuring they are parked in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lot
- Communicate with team members regarding vehicle status and lot organization.
- Keep track of duties assigned to him/her
- Maintain an orderly process for keys
- Ensure that all vehicles are properly displayed and accessible for potential buyers.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with vehicle Service processes a plus.
- Experience with customer service is a plus.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
