Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the culinary team.
- Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean and stored properly after use.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and returning items to the kitchen when necessary.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
