As the leader of your store’s operations, staffing, customer satisfaction, product quality, financial performance, and team development, you will personally help contribute to the success of Andy’s Frozen Custard in Atlanta. Andy’s is a great place to work and the employees love what they do!
Pay is competitive and negotiable along with health insurance and other benefits.
Andy’s will typically employ 30-40 employees per store and have 10 employees working during a busy shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the store management team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Demonstrate a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Drive the implementation of company programs to meet operational and organizational objectives.
- Implement a "customer comes first" attitude among all employees.
- Manage with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that will promote the culture, values, and mission of Andy’s Frozen Custard.
- Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate key responsibilities and practices to the store team.
- Review store environments and key business indicators within the store to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Follow up consistently to ensure accountability to plans.
- Monitor and manage store staffing levels.
- Utilize existing tools to identify and prioritize communications to the store team.
- Solicit customer feedback to understand customer needs and the opportunities for growth.
- Actively manage store associates by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, and setting challenging goals to improve individual growth and store performance.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of of proven management experience in the food industry or leadership roles in other related industries
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to work various shifts per week including mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
- Knowledge of customer service and problem solving techniques .
- Ability to manage 10 employees in a high stress/fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations.
- Organizational and planning skills needed to communicate compnay updates and make a schedule for staffing.
- Superior supervisory skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Team building skills
- Must have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing/walking
- Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs independently and safely
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
- Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine.
- Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around fountain area
- Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
- Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
