Andy’s Produce Market is seeking multiple Produce Clerks to join our dedicated team of friendly and dependable staff.

WORKING FOR ANDY’S PRODUCE MARKET
Our Produce Clerks are responsible for contributing to the inventory and maintenance of the Produce Department by:

• Performing Front House maintenance including facing shelved products and organic food on the Produce sales floor
• Shelving products from storage and walk-in coolers to the appropriate section of the store
• Providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction by being knowledgeable about our products
• Trimming, cleaning, and preparing produce for retail sale

WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
This position is prefect for someone who:

• Enjoys starting their day early. Most shifts start at 4am without exception but there are opportunities to work in the afternoon and evening as well
• Has a strong work ethic and is dependable and trustworthy
• Is self-motivated with a professional demeanor
• Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of staff
• The physical strength and endurance to perform work in a retail and grocery setting, including occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 60 pounds, working in cool temperatures between 45°-65°, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner

The most qualified candidates will have previous experience in the grocery industry.

In addition to premium fruits and vegetables, we offer a selection of organically grown produce, a packaged bulk food and grocery section, and an all-natural health and beauty department. We are proud to feature local fine wines, select specialty foods, and an incredible selection of gourmet cheeses. In addition to providing these healthful options to our local communities, we also satisfy the needs of over 200 local restaurants with our wholesale division.
