Anesi Ozmon, a preeminent plaintiff personal injury / workers’ compensation law firm in Chicago, is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant / Assistant Office Manager who will oversee attorney and non-attorney staff performing a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the law firm.
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Assistant / Assistant Office Administrator is responsible for implementing a wide range of tasks and projects in line with the company’s administrative and accounting departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :
Providing a high level of administrative support by performing routine administrative functions such as record keeping, HR support, office events coordination, working with marketing to update the website, and assist accounting with processing payment for invoices as needed.
- Assist legal staff with office services and work order requests for office repairs
- Assist in employee record keeping for personnel files
- Update forms for employee log, telephone listing, reports, and holiday schedules
- Maintaining, distributing, and ordering office supplies as needed
- Coordinate client and referral gifts and sympathy arrangements as needed
- Assist with event coordination, set up for meetings, and internal / external office events
- Communicate with Management to determine project requirements and objectives
- Review and approve all closing matters in database
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Assisting the Office Manager with any tasks or duties as assigned
- Backup to Office Manager / Bookkeeper
