Job Highlights:

  • Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
  • Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP (8 to 12 weeks)
  • Length of Shift: M-W-F 6:30 am-3:00 pm; T-Th 7:00 am-3:30 pm - will stay later if help is needed in non-cardiac cases
  • Call Requirement: No
  • EMR System: Cerner - moving to EPIC, some paper
  • Required Specialty: Cardiac
  • Types of Cases: Cardiac surgeries 1/day, but not every day; 5-7 general cases/day. Must help cover general if no cardiac cases.
  • Certification Requirement: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Board Certified (in Cardiac Anesthesiology) or Board Eligible, TEE, DEA number or Iowa CSR
  • Must be COVID Vaccinated
  • Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage provided
