What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Benefit Liaison position at Anew Chemical Health Services?
Job Purpose:
The Benefits and Financial Case Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial and benefits for all clients for ANEW Chemical Health. This position is responsible for ensuring that sober housing clients are maintaining payments on a timely basis and those payments are being recorded timely and accurately.
Essential Functions:
- Work with clients to assess their needs and eligibility for government assistance programs and help them apply for and navigate the benefit system to seek assistance for basic needs such as food, housing and healthcare.
- Advocate for policy changes that benefit the needs of the client
- Work with the client and the county to ensure all additional documentation is received for all applications
- Complete 6 month and Household Report Forms
- Inform the county of changes to active cases
- Work with the clients on any benefit renewal paperwork
- Ensure all sources of payments are received on time
- Send out information to county to receive proper payment
- Monitor the county payments and follow up if needed
- Submit and monitor discrepancy reports to county monthly
- Follow up with clients who have any outstanding balances
- Record all payments into QB timely and accurately
- Forward all payments to CEO for deposit
- Maintain a payment tracker Spreadsheet
- Record and track all damage deposits from clients living in Sober Housing, working with Outpatient Intake Coordinator on that funding.
- Hold monthly meetings with individuals in regards to financials around housing and payments.
Education and Experience:
- Quickbooks Experience
- Microsoft Office Experience

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
