Intake Coordinator - Outpatient and Sober Housing
Job Purpose:
ANEW provides comprehensive residential and outpatient substance abuse treatment services for women and women with children. We support clients in achieving and sustaining sobriety by offering therapeutic treatment, recovery resources, and a sober, supportive living environment. This role is essential in coordinating day-to-day administrative and client intake operations for ANEW’s Outpatient and Sober Housing Treatment programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain a list of client referrals via phone, email, fax, and in person inquiries.
- Schedule intake interviews.
- Ensure that all sober housing beds are filled in a timely manner.
- Manage client lists for groups and housing.
- Complete admission paperwork for treatment.
- Complete intake paperwork for admission including Comprehensive Assessments, releases of information, and other required paperwork.
- Enter funding information in Procentive.
- Function as a staff member in providing insight into client behavioral issues and advocate for client needs.
- Practice trauma informed and person-centered care approaches.
- Seek, develop, and maintain partnerships with referents
- Educate prospective clients and other stakeholders to the mission of ANEW and scope of services
- Provide best practices and services in accordance with regulatory requirements per 245G
- Respond to requests for information from prospective clients, family members, and referents.
Qualifications:
- Must have training and experience with clients that are dually diagnosed.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have excellent communication skills for working with clients, referents, and community partners.
