Job title: Recovery Advocate
Hours:
Saturday & Sunday: 7AM - 3PM
Saturday & Sunday: 2PM - 10PM
Friday & Saturday: 2PM - 10PM
On Call - Required to Pick Up 2 Shifts a Month (If Open Shifts are Available)
Reports to Program Supervisor
Job Purpose
Recovery Advocates work in partnership with licensed clinical staff at ANEW to ensure a safe and trauma-informed environment for the clients we serve.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Remain informed on the daily activities and concerns of clients and milieu
- Role model professionalism, safety and inclusivity
- Complete daily tasks including but not limited to:
- Conducting client rounds
- Administer medication
- Administering urinalysis test and breathalyzer
- Documenting pertinent client or community information
- Transport clients to and from appointments etc.
- Assist in admissions and intake tasks
- Manage client crisis and follow proper safety protocols
- Help facilitate client activities and outings
- Supporting clients in their recovery journey while maintaining therapeutic boundaries
- Attend any scheduled All Staff meetings and events
- Monitor building for safety

Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- No problematic substance use for one year
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to transport clients in company vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.50 per hour
