Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a leading healthcare company committed to providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house dynamic team.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will work under the supervision of experienced Physical Therapists to assist in the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents. Your role will involve implementing therapeutic exercises, providing hands-on support, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to enhance residents' mobility and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing residents' physical condition and functional abilities under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
- Implement physical therapy services and activities as prescribed by the treatment plan.
- Provide hands-on support to residents during rehabilitation sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate residents and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
