Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation is a leading healthcare company committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house therapy team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Anew Healthcare and Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in our skilled nursing facility. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, you will design and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance the quality of life for our residents. You will also be part of a team that is a design partner in creating a new EMR.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
- Provide therapy sessions to residents, focusing on improving communication skills and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to integrate speech-language therapy into overall resident care plans.
- Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate and involve family members in the therapeutic process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
