This position requires proactive time management skills, the ability to handle a wide variety of cleaning tasks, and physical stamina to perform cleaning duties across multiple areas of the facility, including bathrooms, conference rooms, break areas, office spaces, and interior windows.
Key Responsibilities:
General Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep
- Ensure the facility is kept clean, sanitary, and well-maintained at all times.
- Perform daily dusting, mopping, and surface cleaning of desktops, window sills, railings, and other high-touch areas.
- Clean and maintain interior windows on both floors, including working from a ladder when necessary.
- Vacuum and remove stains from carpets, ensuring all flooring is spotless and properly maintained.
Breakroom Maintenance
- Ensure all restrooms are stocked, sanitized, and fresh at all times, replenishing toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Promptly unclog toilets, clean sinks, mirrors, and floors, and empty restroom trash bins as required.
- Keep the breakroom clean and organized, including washing any dishes left in the sink and wiping down surfaces regularly.
Trash Removal & Waste Management
- Empty trash bins throughout the facility and ensure waste is properly disposed of in designated areas.
- Maintain recycling and waste management practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental guidelines.
Conference Room & Office Maintenance
- Ensure all conference rooms are well-maintained, presentable, and fully stocked at all times.
- Regularly wipe down tables, chairs, and other furniture to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Perform daily checks to ensure that meeting spaces are clean, functional, and properly arranged for use.
Inventory & Supply Management
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and janitorial necessities, ensuring that items are always in stock.
- Proactively order supplies before stock runs low and maintain an organized janitorial supply area.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a consistent cleaning schedule.
- Comfortable using ladders to clean interior windows and high surfaces.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, scrubbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
