Job Details
Under general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy. Assists the Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Floor Technicians, in the filling of prescriptions by processing cycle fills and daily orders, maintaining accurate drug profiles and medical records, and other activities as required.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare Cycle fill and daily orders for the Floor to package by: a) Setting up and profiling new facilities (only when directed) and new customers, b) Receiving and profiling new orders, c) Obtaining and profiling refill orders, d) Maintaining accurate drug profiles and medical records, e) Printing required forms
- Provide exceptional customer service through daily contact with facilities.
- Resolve billing issues as needed.
- Be familiar with the operation of the pharmacy computer system and the packaging options and requirements.
- Help maintain a clean, well-organized pharmacy with efficient workflow and outstanding customer service.
- Follow the direction of SafeDose Management, Director of Pharmacy, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician Manager and Floor Team Leader in a timely, efficient manner; willingly assist in company and departmental matters or work in any area of the pharmacy when necessary.

Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: To be eligible to perform the functions and duties of a pharmacy technician, an individual must possess the following qualifications, which shall be ascertained and documented by the pharmacists that qualifies the pharmacy permit: The individual must not have been convicted of a crime that has a direct bearing on the individual’s ability to work with legend drugs or controlled substances. The individual must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed a General Education Development program. The individual must complete an approved HIPAA training program.
- Licenses: The individual must have received their Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license or have applied for a temporary license and must be eligible to receive their license within 30 days of employment.
