We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Insurance Broker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping clients navigate their insurance options, providing expert advice, and ensuring they select the best policies to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions for Medicare and individual health products.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details and coverage options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and products.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in outside sales activities to expand client base and build relationships.
- Collaborate with sales administration teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
- Fully understand, abide by and stay current with all Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations as they pertain to duties assigned
- Assist clients in the enrollment process for Medicare Parts A&B, as well as retirement through Social Security.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales or outside sales is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Familiarity with insurance products is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial for maintaining client confidentiality.
