Directional Drill Locator DCI

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Driller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various drilling equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient and safe drilling operations. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in diverse environments. The work that we do is all in mid missouri, from sedalia, to rolla, to kirskville etc. The vast majority of that work inside Mid Missouri is in the Columbia Area.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling machinery and equipment, including a hand load 7x11 Drill, an auto loading d16x20a. Digitrak eclipse locating system. Ridgid line locating system. 8500 pound Mini Excavator, Driving truck and trailer to get water etc.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Execute drilling tasks according to project specifications and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate drilling operations effectively.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during drilling operations.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating directional drills
• Proficiency in excavator and heavy equipment operation
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
• Commercial driving skills for transportation to job sites
• Familiarity with construction sites and various equipment operations
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
