Immigration Paralegal

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documents.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, providing updates and responding to inquiries.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
• Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer non-legal questions.
• Assist in the preparation of legal briefs, memos, and other documents.
• Monitor case status and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of applications and responses.
• Coordinate with government agencies and other organizations regarding immigration matters.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by their assigned attorney or the managing attorney.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a paralegal with a focus on immigration law is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ECAS and Immigration Court procedures; NVC/CEAC; USCIS online filings.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
• High School diploma required. Bachelors or associates degree preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year
