We are looking for compassionate and energetic Floaters to join our team. The Nursery Floater plays a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants and toddlers. This position supports lead and assistant teachers by assisting with classroom activities, supervising children, and ensuring smooth transitions between different areas of the center. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.Our center is operational from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for:
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Support teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities and routines.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, rest periods, and mealtime.
- Help with diapering, feeding, and ensuring proper hygiene for infants and toddlers.
- Provide coverage in classrooms as needed, adapting to different age groups and teaching styles.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive social interactions.
- Communicate effectively with staff and parents regarding children's needs and progress.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for Nursery teacher will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a high school diploma, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
- 2 years of experience working with young kids or childcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
