Responsibilities
- Actively greet and engage guests on the casino floor including communication through microphone.
- Provide information about casino promotions, events, and services.
- Assist guests with inquiries and direct them to the appropriate services.
- Maintain a high level of player recognition, confidentiality and personal service to existing guests.
- Assist Casino Hosts with increasing gaming revenues through the development and maintenance of relationships with a targeted guest base.
- Promote the casino's brand and offerings through enthusiastic and knowledgeable interactions.
- Help and promote new member acquisition from the gaming floor.
- Distribute promotional materials and explain current promotions, loyalty programs, and special events.
- Encourage guests to participate in promotions and sign up for loyalty programs.
- Assist in the setup and execution of casino events and promotions.
- Participate in promotional activities, including games, giveaways, and contests.
- Ensure promotional/gaming floor areas are attractive, welcoming, and well-maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
- Creating unique visits using data gathered to personalize each trip.
- Assist with guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills required.
- Minimum of two or more years customer service, hospitality or marketing experience. Casino experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to prepare, read and interpret documents.
- Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people
Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently. - Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/III gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with some sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
