Summary:
Angel Performing Arts (Angel Dance) has an immediate opening for a part-time voice teacher in Burlington, MA. You will be responsible for teaching students 5-9 years old in piano. Angel Dance offers competitive pay for an experienced piano teacher.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Teach voice at a level appropriate for beginners (5-9 year olds) in an after school program
- Observe students’ progress and providing feedback to help them improve their technique
- Organize concerts as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience working with kids
- Bachelor's degree in music (with major in music, either Vocal Performance or Voice)
- 2 years experience teaching voice
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and organization skills
- Must be available to work weekday afternoons
- US work authorization
All candidates should submit a video or recording of a recent performance to be considered.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
