Reports to: Store Manager
Primary Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer and donor relations.
Key Duties:
- Provide excellent customer and donor relations with the ability to communicate with others in a friendly, confident, professional, and timely manner.
- Honesty, integrity, and exercising sound judgement.
- Meet production goals to help assure maximum sales performance. Provide for the efficient, organized movement of inventory through the donation sorting and pricing process and onto the retail floor as directed by store supervisors.
- Perform store housekeeping and maintenance functions such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
- Safely move furniture, and large donated items as needed.
- Display merchandise on the retail floor in accordance with presentation standards.
- Operate the electronic systems according to company guidelines, recording transactions accurately.
- Work safely and report unsafe conditions to management, abiding by and enforcing company Policies and Procedures.
- Record accurately and timely time and attendance through Paycom payroll system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend English.
Equipment Used:
- Point-of-Sale system, telephone, computers, and credit card reader.
Physical and Intellectual Characteristics:
- Sitting, standing, twisting, bending, walking, and lifting and push/pull of up to 40 lbs.
- Climb stairs or ramps occasionally.
- Free from substance abuse
