Reports to: District Manager
Primary Responsibilities: Oversee operations of the store, including merchandising, production of donated goods, and personnel, Paycom payroll, and accounting functions. Maintain a safe environment following assigned safety standards for both customers and employees providing excellent customer and donor relations.
Key Duties:
- Provide excellent customer and donor relations with the ability to communicate with others in a friendly, confident, professional, and timely manner.
- Honesty, integrity, and exercising sound judgement.
- Train, supervise, and motivate qualified store staff with consistency and fair appropriate behavior.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriate for each position.
- Consult with District Manager, Business Operations Director, and Human Resources regarding State and Federal Labor laws concerning employee hiring, evaluations, disciplinary matters, and possible terminations prior to taking action.
- Work safely and report unsafe conditions to management, abiding by and enforcing company Policies and Procedures.
- Meet production goals to help assure maximum sales performance. Provide for the efficient, organized movement of inventory through the donation sorting and pricing process and onto the retail floor.
- Supervise the overall store housekeeping, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.

- Display merchandise on the retail floor in accordance with presentation standards and as directed by the District Manager or Business Operations Director.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting of revenue, expense, and other financial data as requested. Ensure that daily receipts are reconciled and deposited on a timely basis according to company guidelines. Supervise and track employee recording accurately and timely time and attendance through the Paycom payroll system.
- Maintain programs to encourage safe business practices, minimizing the potential for injuries among staff, customers, and donors by conducting safety meetings and following safety guidelines in accordance with the policies set forth by Loss Prevention and Safety department.
- Assist with, enforce and carry out the Recycling and Hazardous Waste disposal programs as directed by the Transportation Facilities Manager.
- Create a positive store environment and good working relations with senior management and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Ability to read and comprehend English.
· Ability to make basic business mathematical calculations.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word programs
Equipment Used:
- Point-of-Sale system, telephone, computers, and credit card reader.
Physical and Intellectual Characteristics:
- Sitting, standing, twisting, bending, walking, and lifting and push/pull of up to 40 lbs.
- Climb stairs or ramps occasionally. Travel related to business, i.e., meetings, bank.
- Visual inspections of facility, reports, and equipment.
- Free from substance abuse
