Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties.
- Help bussing tables by clearing away dirty dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support catering events by assisting with the setup and breakdown of service areas as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
