Angeles Academy is the Largest Music Academy in West Los Angeles, which means lots of students! We are seeking a long term, committed Voice and Piano instructor who is passionate about teaching, and comfortable working with a wide range of ages and levels, at our in person facility in West LA.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
Benefits:
Choose between 1 to 5 days per week, for a weekly consistent schedule.
Hours: Weekdays, 12:30 pm - 9 pm. Weekends 9 am -5:30 pm.
Work Location: In person only.

- Long Term: a reliable, dedicated teacher who is able to at least provide a two year stay to ensure they have an impact in mentoring the students.
- Degree in music: Performance and music education preferred, some classical training and roots.
- Experience: at least 2 years of teaching experience.
- Personality: Fun, outgoing personality, enjoy working with children/beginner adults.
- Consistent weekly: (Musicians that Gig Frequently might not be a good fit). This role is great for a musician that wants to have a solid income source/minimal gigs and tours.
- Transportation: Be able to commute with reliable transportation to the location.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

- Plan a custom curriculum for each student that combines the music they love with an appropriate level of challenge and the right steps for their development.
- Prepare students for recitals and set reasonable goals.
- Constantly communicate with students, parents, and supervisors.
