Location: Florence, SC Territory
Schedule: Full-Time
Angelic Health is seeking a compassionate, skilled Assistant Hospice Administrator to support the leadership and operational oversight of our hospice program. This professional will assist in managing the daily functions of hospice care in accordance with state licensure, Medicare/Medicaid Conditions of Participation, and ACHC accreditation standards—while also helping foster strong, collaborative relationships within the community we serve.
As Assistant Administrator, you will work closely with the Hospice Administrator and serve as a liaison between clinical staff, leadership, families, and community partners to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Administrator in overseeing hospice operations, policies, compliance, and QAPI initiatives.
Assist with day-to-day management of interdisciplinary teams, including supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Participate in agency planning, strategic initiatives, and staff education.
Help coordinate staffing to ensure timely, appropriate patient services aligned with census needs.
Promote a positive, collaborative work environment and open communication between all stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, local organizations, and other community partners to support growth and awareness of hospice services.
Provide leadership and guidance in the absence of the Administrator.
Participate in staff onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Represent Angelic Health in community outreach and education as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or business-related field required.
Minimum 2 years of hospice or healthcare management experience.
Knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.
Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient with EMR systems and general computer skills.
Valid driver's license, automobile in good working condition, and current insurance.
