Position Overview – PRN (As Needed)
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse (PRN) to provide as-needed, face-to-face consultations and patient education. This is a flexible opportunity for a provider passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive hospice setting.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-person consultations and assessments
Educate patients and families on conditions and treatment options
Collaborate with physicians and care teams
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and treatments
Maintain accurate documentation
Requirements
Education:
Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
ORMaster’s Degree post-master’s NP program from an accredited institution
Experience:
Minimum 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner
Hospice experience strongly preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Active RN License – State of South Carolina
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
Other Requirements:
Successful completion of background checks and drug screening
