Required:
· Associate’s degree in accounting or other business-related field from an accredited college or university.
· Minimum of three years of experience in accounting or a business function.
· Proficiency with MS Excel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will report to the Bursar/Manager of Student Billing for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Support the College’s mission with a customer-service oriented attitude;
· Answer questions and resolve problems relating to student accounts, including manually adjusting student accounts, voiding transactions and manually adding waivers to student accounts;
· Process student billing checks;
· Prepare third party invoices and receipt payments;
· Send past due invoice notification and attempt collections when invoices are not paid in a timely manner;
· Calculate Return to Title IV;
· Calculate Pell earned by entering student information on the FAA Access website;
· Prepare, adjust, and monitor student payment agreements;
· Monitor and reconcile meal plan and dorm charges;
· Interface Bookstore department charges, including reviewing department charges and notifying of any accounts that are over budget, matching student billing bookstore purchases to the Storekeeper daily purchase reports, uploading parking tickets and mailing bill, and approving VCT and Internet course payments to other colleges providing courses to AC students;
· Assist with the preparation of the Certified Annual Financial Report, including updating and sending out spreadsheets and narrative sections to each person for current year updating; an
· Research payment error notifications and correct any errors between bank and ERP.
CONTRACT & SALARY:
$16.50 per hour, in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
