QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in business-related field, education, communication, or similar field of study or Associate’s degree and two years of work experience involving management and project development. The degree must be from an accredited college or university.
· One year or more of supervisory experience with full-time staff and/or part-time staff.
· Advanced oral and written communication skills. Advanced ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, prepare reports, and communicate with others. Strong knowledge and experience in providing effective customer service.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in business, education, communication, or similar field of study from an accredited college or university.
- Community college experience, specifically in teaching or leading continuing education or workforce education programs.
- Experience in curriculum development and evaluation of educational programs.
- Experience as a supervisor in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of institutional assessment and effectiveness.
- Experience with distance education, online education, and concurrent/dual credit programs.
- Experience with recruitment and outreach efforts in education.
- Experience with the use of social media for marketing purposes.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will report to directly to the Chair of Continuing Education and functionally to the Chair of Community Partnerships for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
● Foster an environment that is student-focused and committed to excellence;
● Demonstrate sensitivity toward and respect for the diversities represented in the student population, colleagues, and service area;
● Assist with the development of regular or customized noncredit training from development to implementation, instructor preparation (from hiring to classroom), and student registration functions;
● Serve as a liaison to businesses and industries in the service area of the college;
● Support, supervise, and evaluate assigned instructors of continuing education courses and Camp Roadrunner;
● Serve as a team member in developing curriculum, including syllabi and other course-related documents;
● Coordinate regular communication with third-party payers of student tuition to ensure the accuracy of course rosters and billing statements;
● Assist in the preparation and distribution of the course schedule for Continuing Education and Camp Roadrunner throughout the year, including course selection, coordination of facilities, organization, production, and distribution of class schedules, brochures, and various forms of advertisement to increase student enrollment;
● Maintain a catalog of continuing education courses and Camp Roadrunner activities;
● Assist in marketing and recruitment efforts for continuing education courses and Camp Roadrunner;
● Recruit instructors for continuing education courses and Camp Roadrunner;
● Monitor course files to ensure complete data in areas such as class rolls, outlines, instructor certification, and course numbers to provide factual reporting;
● Aid in the development of curricula, including individual course syllabi as assigned;
● Actively pursue and participate in professional development activities to enhance skills in various modes of instruction and knowledge of learning;
● Perform basic student enrollment and recruitment functions, such as community outreach, student registration support, and student retention activities;
● Attend the workplace regularly, report to work punctually, and follow a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite;
● Incorporate innovation and embracement of new ideas in training; and
● Read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
CONTRACT & SALARY:
$46,000.00 per year, in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
