Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while following designated routes.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Skills
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate box trucks and perform route driving efficiently.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading goods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
