Overview :
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Communications, the Part-Time Graphic Designer (Social Media) will provide graphics support for the Club's social media platforms, through ideation, collaboration, and creation. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who is well versed in social media and graphic trends and can bring concepts to life to elevate the team's platforms. This is a year round part-time, non-benefitted position. The pay range will be between $35-$45 an hour. Hours of work and days will vary from 10-30 hours a week dependent on business needs. This position is eligible for sick time (after 90 days of employment), 401k employee contribution participation after 3 months of employment, merchandise discounts and complimentary tickets to games (12 per season).
Duties :
- Assist in the creation of social graphics for use across Angels properties, including but not limited to game information graphics, milestones, awards, acquisitions, holidays, team announcements, etc.
- Collaborate with and support the social team to brainstorm, conceptualize, execute, and finalize multiple design projects simultaneously
- Identify trends and inspiration and turn them into new concepts to serve the needs of the team
- Work with existing designs and produce original designs
- Follow a style guide and develop a look for our platforms within the brand identity
- Maintain an asset library for use by the social team such as player cutouts, names, and logos
